We are working exclusively with a market leader in delivering comprehensive solar PV, battery storage, microgrids, and EV charging solutions to the commercial and industrial sectors. With a strong presence across Australia, they are at the forefront of the clean energy revolution, designing and building energy infrastructure that drives sustainability and innovation. As part of expansion plans, we are supporting them in the search for a highly motivated and experienced National Head of Sales to lead sales strategy and drive business growth across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a national sales strategy that aligns with company goals and market opportunities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across Australia
  • Identify new business opportunities in the commercial and industrial (C&I) sectors, focusing on solar PV, battery storage, microgrids, and EV charging
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders
  • Drive the full sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiations and deal closures
  • Work closely with the executive team to set sales targets and KPIs, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of projects
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market analyses to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8+ years of proven experience in sales leadership, preferably within the renewable energy, EPC, or related sectors
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV, battery storage, microgrids, and EV charging systems in the commercial and industrial space
  • A track record of success in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets in a competitive environment
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and motivating sales teams
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships at a senior level
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics to track performance and optimize strategy
  • Deep understanding of the Australian energy market and regulatory landscape
  • Full working rights in Australia and willingness to travel nationally as required
